The Duchess of Sussex appeared in an episode of The Ellen Show to discuss her life, her family, and her humanitarian work in the last ever series of the famous chat show. After being a big fan of Meghan Markle for many years, reality star Peter Andre has admitted that it’s becoming more difficult to defend the former royal following her interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
It seemed as though most people enjoyed watching Meghan and Ellen’s chat, as it was generally a very wholesome and positive viewing experience.
However, some celebs spoke out against the appearance, as they felt it was not a good move for Meghan, 40, who had recently claimed to want more privacy for her family.
Peter, 48, took to his column in New Magazine to share his thoughts on the mother-of-two’s interview with the talk show host.
“It’s a tough one with Meghan and Prince Harry,” he wrote.
“I’ve always stuck up for them, but I do think some of the choices that are being made are not great.”
“I want to support them but they’re making it quite difficult for people.”
Meghan gave a candid interview with Ellen, opening up about her children Lilibet and Archie, and allowing a brief glimpse into their family life.
When asked about how Archie was fairing with his new sister she grinned, replying: “He loves being a big brother.”
“Someone told Harry and me that when you have one kid it’s a hobby and two children it’s parenting.
“And suddenly we were like ‘oh right’. Everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child but no one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along.
“So I think they have that moment, ‘Oh this is fun… oh this is how it is now’.”
The former actress gave birth to her daughter back in June and welcomed Archie with husband Prince Harry in 2019.

Peter, who is probably best known for his hit single Mysterious Girl and his public romance with fellow former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Katie Price, has defended Meghan in the past.
The singer isn’t the only celeb who took aim at the former Suits star, however, as Lorraine Kelly recently admitted that she felt Meghan’s “stunt” on Ellen “didn’t work”.
On her ITV show, she said: “It’s a strange one isn’t it? You’re right – you wouldn’t see Kate do that but they are distancing themselves from the royal family.
“I think what she’s trying to do with paid leave for parents is actually a really good thing.”
“I think the, sort of, stunt didn’t really work for me,” she added, commenting on Meghan’s comedy skit during the talk show, which saw her doing some funny animal impressions.
Harry and Meghan first met on a blind date in early July, 2016, before announcing their engagement over a year later in November, 2017.
The two lovebirds tied the knot in a grand public ceremony at Westminster Abbey on May 19, 2018.
Following a difficult time in the UK, the couple decided to give up their royal titles and move to America, where they are now happily settled in their family of four.
