Arlo Parks recently shared a music video for her Phoebe Bridgers collaboration, “Pegasus.”
“Pegasus” will be featured on Parks’ upcoming sophomore album, My Soft Machine.
Parks shared her thoughts about Pegasus on Instagram, saying, “This song is about the purity and rarity of true love, that feeling of solidity, of finding a real home in another human being, of wanting to be better with/for someone but being held as you are.”
“The video captures that frenetic joy and energy – the barren backdrop of the desert, finding relief and color after a long time of being alone,” she continued.
The Instagram post was accompanied by the song and its visual. The desert-set video was directed by Bedroom at Compulsory Film.
My Soft Machine is due for release on May 26. Three songs from the album have already been shared.
