Bring Me The Horizon have announced that they are postponing the release of their new single, “Parasite Eve,” due to ongoing Black Lives Matter protests.
The rock band have been working in full swing during the coronavirus pandemic to bring out the follow-up to 2019 album amo.
The song was scheduled to release on Wednesday, the 10th of June.
But in an Instagram post on Monday, frontman Oli Sykes said, “With the incredible movement that is taking place currently we don’t feel comfortable releasing & promoting anything that takes the focus off what’s important right now.”
“I know you will all understand because we have the best fans in the world & I promise you we won’t make you wait too long & the good news is more music will be coming soon after P.E too. But for now keep fighting the good fight & stay tuned,” he added.
