Carol Vorderman wows in skintight red dress as she poses with rarely seen kids

Carol Vorderman defends her laugh

Carol Vorderman, 62, posed for photographs at JW Marriott Grosvenor House last night where she was in attendance to raise money for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.

The TV personality is currently appearing in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, which airs on weeknights from 9pm.

But as the South Africa special is pre-recorded, Vorderman was free to pose for pictures at the 5* Mayfair hotel, where the money-raising event was taking place.

The evening gown that Vorderman wore for the fundraiser was a floor-length bandage dress that effortlessly extenuated the mother-of-two’s curves.

The ruby red frock featured a plunging neckline, capped sleeves and was accessorised with a chunky gold bangle and statement pearl necklace.

The Bedford-born star was photographed posing on one of the hotel’s staircases in a pair of open-toe silver heels and wore her luscious blonde locks long and wavy.

Elegant and opulent, Vorderman continued to show off her figure in more pictures alongside her rarely-seen children Katie, 32, and Cameron, 26.

In snaps shared to Instagram Stories, the former Countdown star can be seen smiling for the camera and wrapping her arms around the pair.

Voderman’s son, Cameron, opted to wear a sophisticated black suit and tie with smart pointed shoes to the London-based event.

While Katie, who rarely uses social media, went for an understated neutral look — matching a white, high-neck maxi dress with a pair of strappy nude heels and her Apple Watch.

Following the event, Vorderman took to her Instagram Feed to discuss the previous night’s antics.

She wrote: “LAST NIGHT. Testimonial dinner for my buddy @jamiehuwroberts raising money for @noahsarkhospice

“@stereophonicsofficial playing their only gig of the year… amazing, amazing,” she continued. “And their kindness to do this for the children and raising even more funds… forever grateful”

She added: “Welshies doing our thing.”

Elsewhere, fans of Vorderman will be pleased to hear that she’s returning to Have I Got News For You, 17 years after making her debut.

The presenter will feature on the BBC quiz show alongside Nabil Abdulrashid, with her episode set to air on Friday, May 26.
