Caroline Flack’s former boyfriend Lewis Burton has shared a cryptic post about happiness, days after it was reported he’s “grown close” to Lottie Tomlinson.
Lewis posted a photo of himself walking along a road with a stunning mountain in the background and shared a touching quote in his caption.
Lewis, who was dating Caroline before her tragic death earlier this year, told his 206,000 followers: “A quote comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said, “For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life.
“"But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life."”

He then opened up about his own “journey to happiness” as he continued: “This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way.
“So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time…and remember that time waits for no one.”
Lewis added: “So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink…. there is no better time than right now to be happy.”
The 28 year old former tennis player then ended his caption with: “Happiness is a journey, not a destination. Work like you don't need money,
“Love like you've never been hurt, And dance like no one's watching.”
It comes days after it was reported Lewis had “grown close" to Louis Tomlinson’s sister Lottie.
The former tennis pro was reportedly seen “arriving at his flat” with Lottie and “appeared to be holding hands”.

A source told Mail Online: “They have been meeting up in secret for weeks but their newfound friendship hasn't gone unnoticed by mutual pals.
“Not all of Caroline's friends are happy with how the situation appears to be developing but can understand that both Lottie and Lewis have been there for each other as a shoulder to cry on.
“Lewis spent last week in Marbella while Lottie was in St Tropez the weekend previous, they couldn't wait to be reunited with each other on Friday.”
Lewis has also reportedly liked a number of photos on Lottie’s photographs on Instagram.
