Chloe Madeley has gushed over her father Richard Madeley following his I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! debut on Sunday evening.
The 65 year old Good Morning Britain host has already won over viewers of the popular Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly fronted ITV show by frustratingly swearing his way through a challenge.
And Richard's 34 year old daughter Chloe heaped on the praise as she declared him the "perfect man to be a father".
The fitness enthusiast, whose husband James Haskell has previously appeared on I'm A Celebrity, added that "all her good qualities come from my dad".
"He is such a good laugh. He is funny, charming, super-duper intelligent, perceptive, and very compassionate and knows the difference between right and wrong. I just thank my lucky stars for him, really," Chloe told The Mirror.
The blonde added that her father was a "good sounding board" and would always tell her when a previous boyfriend's behaviour was "unacceptable" and "not normal" when they had mistreated her.
"A huge fault of mine is that I always hold a grudge and I never let things go," she said. "But he will say, 'You have to let that go, and you are in the wrong'. It's nice to have that around, I am glad that I have had a measuring stick."
Chloe added that her husband James also "really loves him" and that the feeling is mutual.
Just a few days before appearing on the show, Richard revealed he had turned to James for some guidance as he had appeared on the 2019 series.
However, he said he was left disappointed with what he had to say.
"James hasn't given me any advice, because as he pointed out, it would be useless," Richard explained on Good Morning Britain.
He added: "It will be a different camp, and I plan to just take each day as it comes."
Meanwhile, I'm A Celebrity viewers were left lost for words as Richard let rip a series of expletives during the launch show on Sunday evening.
The presenter has long been a fixture on daytime television and is known for his calm and collected nature in front of cameras.
However, the daytime favourite, who has said his wife Judy Finnigan would watch him from "behind the sofa", broke his composure as he went head to head with Frankie Bridge in the first Bushtucker Trial named the Turrets Of Terror.
The journalist was seen shouting in frustration: "S***, s***, s***!" as he struggled with the task, which he eventually lost.
