Donny Osmond will not be seeing his wife Debbie and children this month due to them being back home in America, while he stays in London for his Pantoland at The Palladium shows. Speaking on Loose Women today, the 64-year-old explained how he was coping.

He said: “Well, I’ve got my UK family I guess. I’ve been here several times over the years and it feels like a second home to me.

“But, thank goodness for Duo or Skpe or Zoom or FaceTime, whatever you use, I’m on it all the time.

“In fact, on Christmas Day, I have a schedule.”

He went on to say he will be kickstarting the big day with a lie in before calling his wife, children and grandchildren.

“I’m going to be on FaceTime all day,” he added.

Donny first performed with the cast of Pantoland at The Palladium earlier this month.

After just one night however, he was forced to miss the show following an injury on stage.

A statement at the time read: “Donny Osmond suffered a slight injury during the evening performance of Pantoland on Saturday and thus will miss Sunday’s scheduled shows.

“He’s being evaluated by a doctor and hopes to return to the stage on Tuesday.

“Today’s performances at The Palladium will continue as planned.”

On the following Wednesday, the singer thanked his fans for their kind well wishes.

He tweeted: “I wanted to update you that I am doing great and it’s good to be back on stage!

“Excited to say THE SHOW IS LIVE!”

In a later tweet, the father-of-five added he had an “exclusive” surprise for those yet to see the show.

Donny addressed his injury on December 10 during an interview on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

He spilled: “It was a freak accident!

“I went to my doctor and he said, ‘Donny, you’ve got a spine like a teenager’.

He went on to say he felt a pop in his spine after bending on stage, which caused him pain.

“But, I’m back on and enjoying every second of it,” he added.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
