The woman, thought to be in her 80s is said to be fighting for her life in hospital in critical after being rushed there following the incident that occurred at around 3.21pm on Wednesday.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance scrambled to the scene after the police motorbike struck the woman at the junction of Cromwell Road and Warwick Road while on escort duties.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident and said that the injured woman's family had been informed.

It's been a busy week for the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, who are now some of the most senior royals, as they have attended a number of engagements, including, of course, the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla on Saturday, May 6.
They also attended the first Royal Garden Party hosted by the King and Queen as monarchs on May 3, as well as another one on May 9, which was also attended by the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Prince Edward and Sophie were present at the spectacular Coronation concert on Sunday evening, and Sophie was seen having the time of her life as she showed off her dance moves.
The newly-appointed Duchess of Edinburgh looked stunning in a coral dress as she attended the event alongside her husband, Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, and their children, Lady Louise, 19, and James, Viscount Severn, 15, along with the rest of the royal family.
Sophie, 48, could be seen shimmying away to Lionel's energetic set, as she proved she was clearly a fan of the world-famous crooner.
King Charles and Queen Camilla could be seen getting into the mood of things too, as they waved their Union Jack flags and donned their blue light-up wrist bands like the rest of the crowd.
