In view of his 734,000 Instagram followers, the husband of ITV’s Ruth Langsford, 61, announced his new philanthropic project.

Sitting at his desk, Eamonn wore a crisp white shirt with braces as he announced his new title

He said: “Hiya, today I went into London for a business meeting, there’s a lot of business meetings in what I do and I put #LoveMyJob.

“That got a lot of you to respond and a lot of you don’t love your jobs as well.”

Eamonn explained that the negative responses to his post have quickly inspired him to become an “agony uncle” for people looking to break into the media industry.

He continued: “And I thought, look, if you want to break into media and if you’ve got a question about media in any terms of tuition or my advice on certain things, get in touch with me.

“Leave a question and in future weeks I’ll do a series of replies to those questions,” Eamonn added.

“You don’t even have to be in media, just think of it as a sort of agony uncle,” he ended the post.

Fans of the star were quick to weigh in on his new venture in the comments.

Applauding his efforts, one social media user wrote: “Well done for trying to help those out there not sure of their next step Eamonn”.

Another added: “This is fabulous Eamonn – thank you.”

While a third penned: “Brilliant Eamonn! I have a question: How do you combat burnout and stress in such a high demand and competitive industry?

“The balance between working hard and still having time for your family and a social life. Thanks!”

The post in question which sparked negative responses came as the ITV star relayed to fans that he was on his way to a meeting in the nation’s capital.

Sitting behind the wheel of one of his cars, the Irish media personality looked suave in a navy blue blazer, light blue shirt and silver pair of aviator sunglasses.

He wrote: “London bound ….. so much of a Freelancers life is meetings #lovemyjob.”

Yesterday Homes Under The Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander revealed that she was being escorted home by the ITV newsreader following a boozy day out with Ruth.

Taking to social media, the BBC star said that she hailed a “Holmes taxi” before telling fans that the Irish native would often give her a ride home when she’d been out with his wife.

In a series of instagram stories, the blonde-haired presenter wrote: “Can’t knock the lift Holme” as she was taken for a spin by Eamonn.

Spinning the camera around to show him in the driver’s seat, he quipped: “Taxi for Alexander.”
