Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has said she is “so excited” about Danielle Armstrong's announcement that she is pregnant, amid reports that she herself is expecting.
Ferne, who starred in the reality TV show with Danielle until 2016 with stars like Billie Faiers and Chloe Sims, is reportedly expecting her second child – and her first with fiance Lorri Haines – just months after getting engaged.
On Tuesday, Danielle, 34, took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy alongside a short compilation video of herself that featured her daughter Orla, two, and her husband, Tom Edney, 33.
In the caption, she penned: “Baby Edney No2… Oh We Can't Wait To Meet You. We are absolutely over the moon. That we will be adding another bubba to our family summer 2023. @tommyedney know Orla is going to be the most amazing Big Sister.”
Many of her famous friends flocked to the comments to gush over the brilliant news, with Ferne, 32, penning: “Yayyyyyyyyy we are so excited. The best news.”
Other friends to share the love included Kate Ferdinand, who wrote: “Fabulous news, congratulations my darling.”
James Argent wrote: “Congratulations to the pair of you.”
“Ahhh congratulations,” commented Love Island’s Maura Higgins, as Lauren Goodger added: “Ahhh congratulations darling !!! How exciting for you all.”
Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison, who recently started the egg-freezing process, wrote: “Congratulations, beautiful!!!! I'm so happy for you all.”
This comes after reports Ferne is expecting her own little one with Lorri after recently celebrating their one-year anniversary.
"Ferne is over the moon. From the moment she met Lorri she knew she wanted to marry him and have his kids," a source told The Sun.
"They're both ready to commit and are looking forward to their future together."
A source close to the family later told OK! that both Lorri and Ferne are “so excited” to be a family of five.
They explained: “Ferne and Lorri are so excited. They can’t wait to be a family of five.
“Lorri has been openly speaking about it with their friends and family – he couldn’t hold it in any longer.”
“They’re so loved-up and have always spoken about expanding their family. They’re going to make the best parents, and Sunday can’t wait to be a big sister.”
