The ‘Savage’ hitmaker is showered with compliments from her and followers after she shares unedited photos of her stretch marks on her social media page.
AceShowbiz –Megan Thee Stallion has gained praises from many for embracing her body flaws. Having put her stretch marks on display when sharing sexy photos on her social media page, the “Savage” hitmaker got showered with compliments from her fans and followers.
On Wednesday, November 24, the 26-year-old musician took to her Instagram page to share sultry photos that saw her flaunting her best angles in the midriff-baring one-piece from trendy retail store Fashion Nova. Some of the snaps were close-up shots of her booty, showing that her stretch marks had not been edited.
After Megan shared the unedited images, many social media users flooded her post with positive comments. “LOVE! #nofilter,” one person commented. Another wrote, “It’s the realness and natural body for me [love emojis].”
“Tiger stripes,” one fan wrote in awe, adding a bunch of smiling faces with heart-shaped eyes emojis. Another commented, “The stretch marks omg [love emojis].” A third chimed in, “Girl you better show me them stretch marks.”
Megan has long been an advocate for body positivity and female empowerment. In November 2020, she performed her single “Body” at the American Music Awards and said in a video message ahead of the show, “I love my body. Every curve, every inch, every mark, every dimple is a decoration on my temple.”
“My body is mine,” the “WAP” hitmaker added. “And nobody owns it but me. And who I choose to let in is so lucky. You may not think my body is perfect, and it probably never will be. But when I look in the mirror, I love what I see.”
In June, Megan released “Thot S**t”. A press release at the time said that the song “celebrates women unapologetically enjoying themselves, doing whatever they want, whenever they want, regardless of what the critics have to say.”
Megan also shared in October that she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Texas Southern University amid all her music industry success. The Grammy winner wrote via Instagram earlier this month, “Showed my a** and still went to class. IMA ALWAYS STAND OUT WITH NO HANDOUTS. Doing everything they said I can’t/couldn’t!”
