Meghan Markle has been captured smiling in a new snap as her pal paid tribute to her, describing her as "incredibly warm and open".
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is gearing up to celebrate Mother's Day with the rest of the USA on Sunday, May 14, and no doubt she will be spending it with her children, Prince Archie, four, and Princess Lilibet, almost two.
Prince Harry's wife is currently supporting a group named 'Alliance of Moms' which aims to raise awareness of "expectant and parenting foster youth" in Los Angeles.
The group's co-founder Kelly McKee Zajfen, took to its official Instagram page to share a snap with Meghan, as both women sported a 'Community Motherhood' T-shirt with cream knits slung around their shoulders.
Meghan looked fresh-faced with minimal makeup, whilst her glossy brown hair tumbled in waves past her shoulders.
In Kelly's caption, she waxed lyrical about the Duchess, as she described her as an "incredible friend and mother" and said she was "in awe" of her.
The caption read: "As Mother’s Day approaches, I can’t help but think of my own #commUNITY of Motherhood. I instantly think of you Meg. How incredibly nurturing and warm and open you are. What an incredible friend and mother. I’m truly in awe of you and I am so grateful you are part of my #CommUNITYofmotherhood.
"You are always the first to say yes and support those you love. You are a fierce advocate for those who are in need. Thank you for joining this year’s campaign to support LA’s expectant and parenting foster youth, which helps provide critical services, education, resources and advocacy so they can build a better future for themselves and their families.
"Please join us in this year’s very special campaign and purchase your t-shirt to support in the link in bio. Don’t forget to tag @allianceofmoms so we can shout from the roof tops how amazing you all are for supporting this wonderful community of mothers."
The post is the second sighting of Meghan in the past few days, after she was spotted hiking near her California home with pals after the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, which she skipped.
Her husband, Prince Harry, attended the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, but he flew back to the US, where he now resides with Meghan and their children, after barely more than 24 hours in the UK.
Their eldest child, Prince Archie, celebrated his fourth birthday on the same day as the Coronation, and it is for this reason that Meghan opted to stay at home.
Prince Harry is believed to have gotten home on the evening of the day, so he could celebrate with his family.
