Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has claimed that she would take legal action against Coleen Rooney if she had publicly outed her, like she did Rebekah Vardy.
The daytime TV panellist, 30, said she 'couldn't understand' why the WAG has responded to Coleen's claims on Twitter rather than just sending a letter from lawyers.
Coleen, 33, used Twitter on Wednesday 9 October to reveal her explosive accusation, writing: "For a few years now someone who I trusted to follow me on my personal Instagram account has been consistently informing [a national newspaper] of my private posts and stories.
"There has been so much information given to them about me, my friends and my family – all without my permission or knowledge. "After a long time of trying to figure out who it could be, for various reasons, I had a suspicion.”
She then went on to describe how she caught the perpetrator by blocking all others from viewing her stories, and ended her lengthy post with the now iconic line: “It's……….Rebekah Vardy's account.”
Rebekah retaliated by vehemently denying this, claiming that she must have been hacked, and ended her response post by saying: "I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?
"I liked you a lot Coleen & I'm so upset that you have chosen to do this, especially when I'm heavily pregnant. I'm disgusted that I'm even having to deny this. You should have called me the first time this happened," alongside a broken heart emoji.
Stacey admitted on Loose Women that she was slightly confused by the spat and said: "I understand why she would be really upset and really hurt and want to out that person.
"But unless you have a conversation with somebody you can't get a real gist of whether they have done it or not. She hasn't actually outed Rebekah Vardy, she said Rebekah Vardy's account, which leaves it open to anything. What do you achieve with that? I don't really understand."
She then went on explain that she didn't wholly agree with Rebekah's course of action either and believed she should have just ignored Coleen's claims.
"But then I don't get Rebekah Vardy's side either because if I was her and I knew I had done nothing, I wouldn't even reply, I would just send a lawyer's letter."
