All the details on Jenny Slate’s engagement ring

Jenny Slate‘s beau put a ring on it.

The 37-year-old actress and comedian revealed Monday she and Ben Shattuck are engaged. The art gallery curator presented Slate with an estimated 2-carat ring featuring a deep blue oval-cut sapphire center stone, according to Brilliant Earth‘s VP of strategy and merchandising Kathryn Money.

“Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center gemstone, we estimate the cost of the ring between approximately $7,500-$20,000,” Money told Page Six Style on Tuesday.

Money also noted Slate’s ring is similar in style to those of fellow celebrity brides Karlie Kloss and Katherine Schwarzenegger, the latter of whom received a six-figure ring from now-husband Chris Pratt.

“Fancy shaped (non-round) gemstones are becoming increasingly popular,” she said, noting, “Gemstone shapes including ovals and elongated cushion cuts create a flattering look, as they appear to lengthen the wearer’s finger.”

Slate is the latest bride-to-be to rock a sapphire ring. “This Is Us” actress Susan Kelechi Watson’s engagement ring also appears to feature a blue center stone.
