Are Holly Willoughby and Tamzin Outhwaite related? Inside the cousins adorable friendship

Holly Willoughby and Tamzin Outhwaite's connection has been questioned for years now, especially since the This Morning presenter referred to the EastEnders actress her cousin.

Dan Baldwin's wife, 40, and the soap actress – currently dating 28 year old toy boy Tom Ellis – are extremely close, and there's a very good reason why.

Here's everything you need to know about Holly and Tamzin's friendship.

Firstly, are Tamzin and Holly cousins?

While Holly referred to Tazmin, 51, as her ‘cousin’ on Instagram over Christmas 2017, the pair are not related by blood.

In fact, Tamzin is Holly’s cousin-in-law.

Tamzin is the cousin of Dan Baldwin, Holly’s husband.

In 2017, during an episode of This Morning, Holly revealed her connection to Tamzin.

While discussing the latest soap news with Sharon Marshall, the EastEnders actress’ name came up in conversation, to which Holly commented: "She is my cousin-in-law."

Fans were left baffled by the previously unknown celeb information, taking to Twitter to share their shock.

The pair are usually spending time together over national holidays, including Christmas, due to their family link.

Over one Christmas, Holly shared a snap with Dan's mother and Tamzin, captioning the image: "Me and @glamzin and our Nonna Matriarch! In true #eastenders style… faaaaamly!"

The pair are also in the same friendship group, and have shared pictures enjoying a glass of wine with fellow pal Emma Bunton.

However, more recently the actress has admitted to cutting down on the booze after starting to experience menopause symptoms.

"I reckon I've drunk a couple of times over the last month. I haven't noticed any physical improvements to my skin or hair yet, but I definitely feel healthier,' Tamzin recently told Closer.

Speaking recently to The Sun, the TV star said that she often couldn't clearly remember nights out with Holly and their pals after having one too many drinks.

Speaking to The Sun in July, the actress said: "It’s more of a hindrance, because if I do have a brilliant night and I love it, we’ve got stories for days about those good times.

“But then I’ve got two days where I’m not very clear. And you know, five drinks can do that to me now.”
