A dating app dubbed ‘Tinder for toffs’ has revealed its most right-swiped private schools – and Prince Harry’s alma mater made the top five.
Toffee, a dating app exclusively for privately educated people, unveiled its top 20 most popular establishments in the UK in a 2019 league table.
Taking the top spot was the £39,000 a year Millfield School in Somerset, which is the largest co-educational boarding school in the country with around 1,240 pupils.

Notable alumni – or Old Millfieldians – include singer Lily Allen, journalist John Sergeant and Stormbreaker actor Alex Pettyfer.
The £41,000 a year Eton College, which is the alma mater of both Prince Harry and Prince William, also gained a top spot, coming in third behind Marlborough College.
Eton, in Windsor, was also found to be home to the UK’s most desirable privately educated bachelors.
The rest of the top five included Malvern College in Worcestershire and Oakham School in Rutland.

Cheltenham Ladies’ College, where admission runs up £39,000 per year, came in eighth place – and was found to be home to the UK’s hottest bachelorettes.
Boys boarding school Harrow also made the top 20, in 13th place, with the £38,000 per year Charterhouse falling in 17th place.
Toffee also revealed that 34 per cent of users from these schools admitted to rejecting potential romances from rival schools – and swiping left.
Despite this, 63 per cent of Britons aged 18 to 30 admitted they would feel more comfortable dating someone from a similar background, such as having gone through the same education system.

Those with profiles featuring photographs of themselves at beach bars, taking walks in the countryside or aboard boats were found to be the most successful on Toffee.
And a massive 65 per cent of users from the app’s top schools admitted they still keep up to date with their former school boyfriend or girlfriend on social media.
Toffee, launched in the UK in May last year, is a dating app which caters specifically for the privately educated.
The app debuted in Australia in June and is now set to publish an Australian league table next month.
