I feel like a disappointment and think everyone would be better without me | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I FEEL like a disappointment to everyone and think their lives would be better without me.

I wish I was just being dramatic.

I’m a 35-year-old woman and live by myself.

I thought that by this age I’d have a job I love and be married.

Instead, I spend every evening and weekend by myself.

I’ve stopped trying to make new friends because I feel I annoy everyone. My ex-best friend once said I was a ‘drain’ on her.

It doesn’t help that my mum prefers my sister to me.

She owns a successful floristry business and has beautiful twin daughters aged eight.

I keep thinking about running away to another country and starting again. It’s not like anyone would miss me.
