Oti Mabuse made sure that she was looking her very best for a Women’s Health magazine cover by heading on a fitness trip.

She packed her bags and headed on a gruelling holiday in July with husband Marius Lepure in order to get herself in better shape. Not that she needed to, as she looked incredible already!

The couple, who are both professional dancers, exercised twice a day and ensured that their meals were “super clean”, which meant eating plenty of seafood and salads.

They spent plenty of time in the gym, but also ensured they had fun while posing on the beach together.

While they were away they also found a passion for a new sport, and learnt to play tennis.

When she returned home the hard work didn’t stop there. Oti, 30, and Marius, 38, have a running machine and exercise bike in their house which they used to maintain their fitness levels.

Oti is currently partnered with comedian Bill Bailey on Strictly Come Dancing and they are already showing themselves as contenders in the competition.

Oti, who won the show with Kelvin Fletcher last year, spoke in the interview with the fitness magazine about how proud she was of the diversity on the show.

“On Strictly, we have 17 professional dancers who all look completely different; they represent something unique, with [dancers] from Australia, New York, South Africa, and China. I’m proud that we have that representation," she explained.

The hard-working star detailed just how much effort goes into the Saturday night show and revealed she even wakes up at 3am to make the most out of her working days.

“I’m an extreme early bird, so I’ll wake up at three o’clock in the morning I usually just sit in bed and reply to emails or text messages, then I’ll either choreograph or I’ll look at the current routine for things we can improve on.”
