Teen jumped and kicked in face by ‘gang of six girls’ outside milkshake store

A 13-year-old was jumped on and kicked in the face by a 'gang of six girls' in a sickening attack outside a milkshake store.

The young girl, who did not want to be named, said she was on her way to Shakey's milkshake shop in Liverpool on Tuesday when she was attacked.

She said the group started yelling at her friend who was with her before the vicious attack, which left her covered in blood.

The victim told Liverpool Echo : "I didn't even do anything I was just trying to get my friend away because they were shouting in her face.

"The next thing I was on the floor. I was trying to cover my face to stop them from kicking it and I had my phone in my hand so I was trying not to smash it, it all happened so fast."

Shocking CCTV shows the group of girls surrounding the victim as they kick her on the ground.

She added: "My hair was that matted my hairdresser came round to my house to try and get the clumps out but she couldn't so my mum had to cut them out.

"I'm not going out for the rest of the holidays."

The girl's furious mum said her daughter was "dragged to the floor and kicked in the face" before the group began "whacking her head off the wall".

Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment the girls began striking the girl in the head and dragging her to the floor.

Her mum added: "My daughter said her battery was on one percent so she was going to charge it at the milkshake shop with her friend.

"And as they get to the crossing this girl is pointing at her friend screaming and shouting at her.

"A girl said something so my daughter said 'who do you think you're speaking to?' and the next minute they all jumped on her.

"The lady in the milkshake shop said 'I came out and your daughter was just curled up in a ball on the floor and they were all hitting her in the face.

"They kept kicking her in the face and whacking her head off the wall."
