Woody Harrelson’s wild reactions at Wimbledon go viral

Woody Harrelson just gave his best performance in years — with crazy-eyed reactions at Wimbledon.

“I don’t watch tennis I watch Woody Harrelson watching tennis,” tweeted @trevorstweetss, summing up the Internet’s sudden obsession with the star after his “performance” Saturday.

Cameras repeatedly focused on the 57-year-old “Zombieland” actor as he reacted with wide-eyed awe at the men’s doubles final, at times looking like he was gurning and licking his lips in an exaggerated fashion.

Game commentators also kept a running count on his trips to the bar, suggesting the “Cheers” star’s reactions may have been driven by overly enjoying the hospitality.

“Funniest part of this match is announcers keeping track of how many glasses of wine Woody Harrelson has had (keep showing him in the stands every time he gets a drink),” Scott Shaffer tweeted along with a photo of a laughing Woody.

Others were obsessed with the full range of emotions the actor seemed to show during the epic match.

“A stirring tale of loss, endurance and triumph at #Wimbledon in three acts, starring @WoodyHarrelson,” Chris Joseph joked on Twitter, posting screenshots of the star’s various emotions during the game.

Woody first popped on the game’s radar when he was refused re-entry during play, looking clearly upset as he sipped on his drink.

The cameras kept coming back to him once he’d returned to his seat, with him now wide-eyed with happiness at the game — and again later as he stared at his phone after everyone else appeared to have left.

The shots that got the most attention, however, were of him wildly licking his lips — and then staring in utter shock as Nicolas Mahut took a below-the-belt shot.

“Woody is entering the next plane of existence,” @TylerRuinsTV tweeted of the star’s stunned look.

As memes of him became viral, many suggested it was some of the actor’s most attention-grabbing work in years.

“Wow I can’t believe Woody Harrelson managed to outperform his role as Detective Marty Hart wow,” Kyle Celinski joked of Woody’s “True Detective” character.
