Britney Spears wishes sons happy birthday amid tensions following ITV interview

Britney Spears has taken to Instagram to share a happy birthday message to her two sons, despite recent drama between the trio.

Britney shared a picture of herself wearing a white and yellow crop-top and rocked her hair in loose waves as she smiled.

Britney wore white shorts, a burgundy top and some sandals while her sons, Jayden and Preston, were dressed in casual long black trousers and trainers.

She put her arm around her son as he cheekily posed with his tongue out to the camera.

The second picture showed the brothers standing with Britney underneath a flower arch, all wearing face masks as they took a sweet family picture together.

In the caption she wrote: “Happy birthday, Preston and Jayden! Love you both so much! These photos are from last year,” and added a balloon, a party popper and love face emojis.

Fans flocked to the comments to wish the boys well and address Britney herself.

After many “happy birthday” messages, one follower added: “I hope you can take new pictures with them,” before signing off with a red love heart emoji.

Another wrote: “Hopefully they come round and realise they only have one mother. Treat her well.”

Other fans told her that she is “the best mother,” that they “understand it is hard” and that the boys “love her so much”.

Recent drama between the sons and their mother has surfaced after she took to Instagram to open up about their tricky relationship.

Jayden appeared on ITV and said: “It’s almost like she has to post something on Instagram to get some attention.”

Britney addressed the comment in a now deleted post and told her 41.9 million followers that she was “angry” at what Jayden had said.

She also added that she would “not be willing” to see her sons until she feels “valued” by them, but admitted she was “desperate” to see them.

Britney also said that “all she knows” is that her “love for her children is more than anything” and apologised “if she ever hurt them in any way”.

Spears addressed the boys personally and told them she “adores them” and is “blessed to even call them her children”.
