Girl’s Day star Minah has exposed a vile troll who asked her if she ‘wanted to go next’ following Sulli’s death.
The Korean entertainment industry is in shock following the death of former f(x) star Sulli aged 25.
While her cause of death has not been officially confirmed, police are working off the assumption that the singer, real name Choi Jin-ri, took her own life.
Minah shared a poignant picture following the news – but received horrific abuse in the comments section.
The 26-year-old posted a black and white photo of a bird flying across the sky in memory of Sulli, who debuted with f(x) a year before Minah debuted with Girl’s Day.
One person commented on the picture: ‘Why, do you want to go next, you b****.’
Exposing the troll on her Instagram story, Minah wrote: ‘How can I even begin to understand this? I’ll report you.’
Fans of the Twinkle Twinkle singer praised her for calling out the troll, and left messages of support on her Instagram.
Minah’s Girl’s Day bandmate Sojin also honoured Sulli by posting a black and white image of clasped hands in a prayer position.
Sulli had previously struggled with receiving malicious comments online, even going on hiatus from f(x) in 2014 due to trolling.
At the time, SM Entertainment said: ‘f(x) member Sulli became mentally and physically exhausted from the continuous, malicious comments and false rumours, and has expressed her wish to take a break from her celebrity activities for the time being.’
Sulli’s funeral will take place privately; however, fans will be given the chance to pay their respects at a public memorial.
The memorial will be held at Funeral Hall 7 on ground floor level 1 of Shinchon Severance Hospital, from 4pm to 9pm today and from 12pm to 9pm on 16 October.
