Madonna reveals giant 16inch blade hidden in her cane ahead of Madame X comeback

Madonna has been concealing a giant 16-inch blade inside her luxury cane.

The pop icon, who is in the middle of her Madame X theatre tour, took to Instagram earlier this week to post a behind the scenes clip from the Lisbon leg of her world trek.

In the short video, Madonna, 61, could be seen laughing and joking with locals in the Portuguese city.

Holding up her cane, she unscrewed the silver top before pulling out a giant 16 inch blade.

In her typically dry humour, Madonna said: "We want the finest wine money can buy.

"Watch out! If you don't give me good wine this is what is going to happen."

Holding the weapon up she smirked: "Ok… give me red wine."

Madonna will kick off the UK leg of her Madame X tour on Wednesday January 29.

The Like A Prayer singer is due to play 15 dates at The London Palladium before moving on to Paris to take up residency at Le Grand Rex.

Over the past few months Madonna has been plagued by illness after suffering a knee injury.

Over the weekend Madge axed her planned London show set to January 27.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, the superstar wrote: "I am deeply sorry that I have to cancel my concert scheduled for Monday January 27th in London.

"Under doctors guidance I have been told to rest for a few days.

"As you all know, I have injuries that have plagued me since the beginning of the tour but I must always listen to my body and put my health first."
