In Shameless, Jodie Latham's character was skint and struggling to make ends meet but that's a world away from where the actor turned entrepreneur is now.
The 38-year-old actor is reportedly owner of a multi-million-pound cosmetic company.
The father-of-two revealed he became friends with an extra and after she'd trained to administer Botox injections he told her to "Jab me up."
Jodie, who also appeared in EastEnders and Waterloo Road, couldn't believe how "good" it made him feel and "wanted to make people feel good" too.
Jody trained up to give beauty treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers.
After opening several clinics, he then decided it would be more lucrative to distribute dermal filler for cosmetic treatments and secured a £9.5million deal.
But Jody told the Mirror that he's being careful with money and is re-investing profits.

He said: "I live in a two-bed flat and drive a modest car. I’m pumping everything back into the company.
“It’s valued at £18million. We’ll see where we are in a couple of years. I’ve had money before but not in my hands long enough."
He admitted that he's not always been so careful when it comes to cash.
Jody said: "After series one of Shameless, I went with my first wage of £21,000 and bought an Audi convertible. I didn’t even think of rent or food.”
