BBC Breakfast's Rachel Burden made a cheeky dig at meteorologist Sarah Ketih-Lucas during the latest episode on the morning show as her co-host Ben Thompson tried to takeover weather report.

After a segment on obesity during Sunday's show (May 15), Rachel and Ben were back on our screens before the sly jibe was made.

Sitting on the infamous red sofa, the pair looked full of contentment after last night's Eurovision result where the UK came second – while Ukraine won the competition with a mass of public votes.

Segueing onto the weather, things were shortly due to get a little awkward.

"7:45," Rachel said with a sigh before adding: "Shall we have a look at the weather?"

Ben then said: "Yeah, the weather. Yesterday most places was glorious, but it's not gonna last. But it's coming back."

Rachel then burst out in a fit of laughter before making a cheeky dig at weather presenter Sarah, saying: "We hardly need Sarah," before adding: "now we've got that kind of expert delivery."

"Sorry," Ben said coyly, before saying that "Sarah can do the professional job".

Sarah then appeared on the screen and praised the host for his mini weather report by telling him that he had "summed it up quite nicely".

This isn't the first time this weekend that the BBC Breakfast studio has seen an awkward moment.

Yesterday when Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt hosted the popular programme, things took a turn when Charlie went rogue.

Fans then branded Naga a "diva" for having a "meltdown" after she demanded her co-host back into the studio.

After chatting to an Olympian cyclist outside the studio about a new E-Bike loan scheme, Charlie and his new pal cycled off into the sun to "tootle off and get a coffee".

"Uh, no, Mr Stayt," Naga fumed, before echoing: "No, Mr Stayt you are due back in the studio."

After spending the next minute or so pleading for him to come back, she urged viewers that Charlie "would be back".

Fans were taken aback by her outburst and one even took to Twitter to say: "Naga Munchetty having a right old diva style meltdown #bbcbreakfast."
