Chicago PD season 10 episode 20 promo
It looks like one of the Chicago PD team is in grave danger in the upcoming season finale of the police procedural drama.
In the promo for the next instalment, Hailey Upton (played by Tracy Spiridakos) is seen beaten and bloody while tied to a bathroom sink alongside another character following a “deadly betrayal.”
That other character in the bathroom just so happens to be one of Jay’s informants, which is why Hailey takes his call and offers to help him.
But things don’t turn out so great when two masked men attack her and the informant.
When Hailey wakes up after being knocked unconscious in the scuffle, she finds herself tied up in the bathroom alongside Lee, the informant.
The episode, which is titled Fight, gets pretty brutal – as most Chicago PD season finales do – as Hailey fights for her life while the team scrambles to find her before it’s too late.
It’s been a season of highs and lows for Hailey, with her husband, Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) leaving to work with the military in Bolivia, only for him to essentially ghost her and cut off all communication.
So, for most of season 10, fans have seen Hailey struggle to cope with the way in which she was ultimately left behind.

By the end of the finale, Hailey, after everything that she has gone through while being kidnapped, realises that Jay wouldn’t have even known or noticed if anything had happened to her that day.
So, it looks like this might be the end for the couple.
Tracy has not indicated she is leaving the Chicago show but Jesse Lee Soffer’s exit isn’t the first of recent years.
Chicago Fire fans had to say goodbye to Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer), even though he has returned for a few cameo appearances since then. Things are also up in the air for another Chicago Fire fan favourite.
Taylor Kinney, who plays Kelly Severide, took a leave of absence midway through the current season of the show, citing personal reasons. But there haven’t been any updates as to when or if he will return.
This is despite the fact that all of the Chicago shows – Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med – have been renewed for additional seasons.
Fans will need to tune in to see what happens with his character and how Hailey copes in season 11 of PD.
