Chris Moyles has responded to "rude" suggestion he is Doughnuts in The Masked Singer, saying he has "never been so insulted".
Fans of the hit show have been trying to work out who is inside the pile of sugary snacks, with radio and TV star Chris on the list of contenders.
But it looks like viewers might be able to rule him out.
The star addressed it on his Radio X show, saying he would play a clip of the character singing before discussing "this 'ooh it could be Chris Moyles' scenario."
He went on: "So the one they think – none of this is fun for me – the one they think is me is the Doughnut. Sizeist."
Playing a clip and asking listeners if it could be him, Chris joked: "I've never been so insulted!"
Referring to his 2012 turn in the Jesus Christ Superstar musical back, he said: "I was in an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical! And people are going, 'That could be Chris Moyles?'
"Now I don't know who said it was me. If it was Davina (McCall) she's in trouble because she just went, 'Definitely not a singer'."
He teased: "I don't think that's even a famous person, I think that's somebody trapped. It's one of the staff from a dress rehearsal the other day trying to get out of the stupid costume.
"Just to clarify then, in case you haven't worked out from what I was saying… It might be me…"
There has been speculation about Doughnuts being TV chef James Martin.
However, the frontrunner at this stage is generally considered to be former England football star Michael Owen.
The field started to narrow after clues were dropped like being "extra speedy" and football sweets being included in a pick 'n' mix selection.
Tune into The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X, weekdays from 6:30am – 10am and Saturdays 8am – 11am.
The Masked Singer UK continues Saturday night on ITV.
