Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd sparks Strictly rumours as girlfriend Hanni asks fans about ballroom dancing classes – The Sun

CORONATION Street's Jack P. Shepherd has sparked rumours he's about to sign up to Strictly Come Dancing.

Last series saw his former co-star Catherine Tyldesley take part, while Natalie Gumede and Georgia May Foote have also done the show.

And now, the actor – who is best known for playing David Platt – could be the BBC dance show's latest soap sign up.

Jack sent fans speculating after his girlfriend Hanni Treweek asked followers about ballroom dancing classes online.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Does anyone know of any good ballroom dancing classes in Manchester that @jackpsheperd88 and I can do x."

Last year, Jack, 32, hinted he'd be up for joining the show.

He told Best magazine: "I'd do Strictly over any of the others. I couldn't do Dancing On Ice.

"If I did I'm A Celebrity I'd probably upset someone by saying something that's not PC and lose my job."

Jack's former co-star Lucy Fallon also previously opened up about her plans to join Strictly while greeting fans at the Corrie set back in January.

An insider told The Sun Online:  “Lucy was greeted by loads of fans as she left the set yesterday.

“It was very emotional, people were crying as they showered her with gifts.

“Some had waited over two hours to say goodbye and one girl had travelled six hours to be there and just to give her a card.

“Everyone was desperate to know what she is doing next and she told them she really wants to do Strictly.”Following her departure, Jack showed off his funny side by posting a cheeky message in her leaving card.Other members of the cast left touching messages expressing their love and admiration for Lucy, 24, but Jack just scrawled: “To Lucy F**k Off Jack."The two played uncle and niece in the ITV soap.Jack P Shepherd reveals Tina O'Brien has been booted out of the Platt's whatsapp group as she marries Adam
