DAN Walker has blasted Strictly fans for moaning they've "never heard of" the new series' stars.
The Channel 5 news presenter – who competed in the BBC dance show last year – vented on social media today as the fifth contestant was announced.
Comic Jayde Adams joins former Corrie star Kym Marsh, actor Will Mellor, Loose Women's Kaye Adams and presenter Richie Anderson in the line-up.
The funnywoman has her own special on Amazon Prime and is currently performing her stand-up show Men, I Can Save You at the Edinburgh Fringe
But as she was announced on BBC Radio 5 Live during a chat with Scott Mills and Chris Stark, some fans complained she wasn't "well known enough".
One said: "Jayde Adams….nope never heard of her!"

"It's half the fun getting to know the celebs or getting to see them in a different light," said another.
