EastEnders pictures – Lola's last day, Elaine's huge secret and legend sacked

Emotions run high in another unmissable week for EastEnders (May 15 to 19), with heartbreaking decisions made, goodbyes set in motion and one legend facing the sack!

The Queen Vic is at the centre of much of the drama, with Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) devastated in the fallout of the break-in with a picture of Mick (Danny Dyer) having been destroyed.

Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe), however, is unfazed, leaving Linda upset, with matters becoming worse when the newcomer begins to change the normal runnings of the pub.

Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) confirms that Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is untrustworthy, leaving Elaine desperate to take down the Panesars, but Eve urges the new landlady to reconsider, reiterating that Linda doesn’t need such stress, which prompts Elaine to speak to Linda, with the two having a heart-to-heart.

Elaine, however, makes a secret phone call, sharing her hopes that the mystery man on the other end will move in to The Vic with her! She’s making herself right at home, isn’t she?

Lola Perace (Danielle Harold), meanwhile, goes missing during a karaoke party, with Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) finding her on the floor outside the gym, as it comes to light that her speech and mobility is impaired.

Later at the hospital, Lola wakes up with her loved ones by her side, learning that her palliative chemotherapy treatment hasn’t worked.

Determined to make memories, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) breaks Lola out of the hospital for a fun-filled day at the seaside. Lola spots a run necklace which she hopes to buy Lexi (Isabella Brown) for her 16th birthday, with the pair subsequently sharing a heart-to-heart by the seafront.

Lola, however, reveals she stole the necklace, and the couple are later interrupted by a police officer and the shopkeeper, wanting answers for what transpired.

EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, May 15 and Thursday, May 18 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
