Emmerdale viewers noticed Lucas was still missing from the Dales on Wednesday evening's episode, following Dawn Taylor's exit.
Dawn, played by Olivia Bromley, could be seen packing her bags and leaving Woodbine Cottage at the end of last night's episode, having ruined any chance of a relationship with Billy Fletcher.
However, certain fans of the soap were quick to notice her son Lucas was nowhere to be seen, with Dawn leaving the village solo.
This evening, her dad Will Taylor desperately rushed around the village, looking for Dawn in every nook and cranny.
Digging for answers from Billy (Jay Kontzle), no mention was made of little Lucas – leaving certain viewers scratching their heads.
Over on Twitter, viewers were quick to wonder what had happened to Lucas, 24 hours after Dawn bid farewell to the sleepy Yorkshire village.
One said: “Any sign of Lucas anywhere? Has Will forgotten he's got a grandchild?”
“Where is Lucas?” asked a second.
And a third chimed: “Never mind where's Dawn Lucas must have been in my sleep over for at least 6-months now.”
While a fourth wrote: “Guess lucas is making his own way home lol.”
Dawn was forced to end her relationship with Billy after she murdered DI Malone, fearing she could incriminate him if they continued to see each other.
Billy was baffled by the break-up, and begged Dawn to reconsider, only for the heartbroken mum-of-one to drive a wedge between them.
In a desperate attempt to distance herself completely from her ex, she slept with Billy's younger brother Ellis Chapman (Aaron Anthony), aware it was the ultimate betrayal.
Tuesday's episode saw Dawn claim the affair had lasted weeks, leaving Billy devastated as she stormed out of the village.
Could grandad Will be responsible for caring for little Lucas following Dawn's exit, or has he vanished completely?
Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with a second helping on Thursdays at 8pm.
