Emmerdale fans confused as car park guard stops Liv getting on flight to Dublin

Emmerdale fans were left scratching their heads after Friday's episode, when Live Flaherty (Isobel Steele) were stopped from getting on a plane.

The troubled teen has been drinking again recently, but fled the village and headed to the airport to try and get on a flight to Dublin to see her mum.

However after dropping a bottle of vodka and throwing up, Liv was approached by a car park security guard, who stopped her boarding her flight.

Viewers were left confused about how he would have the authority – or why Liv would listen to him, taking to Twitter with their thoughts.

One said: "This is harassment ffs she looks fine so leave her alone."

Another wrote: "Security guards decide whether you're fit to fly?"

A third tweeted: "Who's this airport jobsworth?"

Someone else complained: "Typical jobsworth."

While a fifth added: "Patronising security guard of the week."

Liv had really hit rock bottom after Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) continued blanking her, despite her desperate calls.

She grabbed her passport and headed to the airport on a bus, while swigging from a small bottle of vodka after relapsing in her alcoholism.

Her family were frantically trying to find her back in the village, but Vinny knew exactly where she was, as he listened to her emotional voicemail.

Eventually, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) pushed him to call her, and they figured out she was at the airport, so put their plan in motion – however it seems they might not have to worry about losing her.
