Emmerdale fans saw a touching moment between Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J Robb) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) during last night’s instalment. The local vet had been visiting the farm after she heard some of her animals had been unwell, but unable to pay her for her services, Rhona offered to help Moira free of charge. At the top of one of the fields, they paused for a break and had a moment of honesty with one another, revealing their retrospective troubles. And it seems this is just the beginning of a new friendship and perhaps business partnership.
In recent weeks, Moira has revealed the financial struggle she and Butler’s Farm is experiencing after her prize bull was savagely killed seemingly by DI Malone (Mark Womack) in a bid to rile up her estranged husband Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
Moira also lost her farmhands in recent months; Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) understandably chose to work elsewhere after his revenge affair was exposed, and Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) soon followed before leaving the Dales for good.
Viewers have seen an off-on relationship between Moira and her son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano), but nevertheless, after his mother quit the excessive drinking, he has stuck by her side and continues to help out on the farm.
But, with the recent threat of Rustlers, Moira is struggling to make ends meet, and it seems Rhona could be the one to save her and her business from folding entirely.
- Emmerdale spoilers: Rhona Goskirk to exit after Graham bombshell?
Emmerdale fans saw Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) meet his grisly end back in January when Pierce Harris (Jonathan Wrather) returned and murdered him in the dead of night.
After a murder inquiry was open and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) was wrongly accused of killing the businessman, many villagers began their own investigation and it wasn’t long before the Woolpack chef was released and Pierce thrown behind bars.
But, if Rhona thought the drama was going to stop there, she thought wrong, because Graham’s ex-wife Kim Tate (Claire King) was doing what she does best; playing games.
Graham’s funeral was Kim’s responsibility, and she wasted no time in pushing Rhona’s suggestions away and freezing her out of all the decision making.
As a result, viewers tuned in to see Kim hold a private funeral for Graham, with her and the vicar the only attendees.
Understandably this infuriated and hurt Rhona, who loved Graham and had been planning to start afresh in France with him hours before he was killed.
However, karma worked its magic this week when Rhona received a phone call from Graham’s solicitor asking to meet with her to discuss his estate.
It seems the businessman altered his final wishes weeks before he was killed to remove Kim as the main beneficiary.
Instead, the single mother of one inherited a very large sum of cash.
But what is she going to do with it?

Neighbours spoilers: Dee Bliss and Andrea Somers return confirmed [NEWS]
With the actress who plays Rhona not confirming she is leaving the soap, fans can presume her character is sticking around and not going to France like originally intended.
Official soap spoilers have revealed how after Rhona and Moira’s heart to heart, the vet realises she can use Graham’s money to become an investor in Butler’s farm.
However, there is one condition Moira must abide by before Rhona signs on the dotted line.
Viewers will have to tune in to this weeks’ episodes to find out what it is, but this is the start of a new friendship between two women who have previously been at loggerheads with one another.

On the flip side of this, it won’t be long until Kim finds out she has been left with nothing from her deceased husband.
Is this the start of a new revenge plot from the Home Farm owner?
After all, there have been suggestions Kim is going to target Rhona in a bid to avenge her husband’s death.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
