Emmerdale spoilers see Priya’s dramatic exit story as daughter Amba kidnapped

Emmerdale spoilers have confirmed that Fiona Wade's final scenes as Priya Sharma will air next week as the character faces a dramatic exit on the hit ITV soap.

It was reported in October that Fiona was leaving her role of Priya after 11 years on the soap to pursue other acting opportunities.

And in upcoming scenes, Priya is left traumatised during a Take A Vow event when a veil catches fire as the flames bring back memories of her previous ordeal in the maize maze fire during the 2021 stunt week.

However, Priya, who has faced a heartbreaking recovery since the accident, decides to take ownership of what happened and opens up about her history to the client, Justin.

And later, she's left shocked when an impressed Justin then offers her a job in London.

However, David Metcalfe is distraught to learn that Priya is planning to move away and takes drastic action, kidnapping their daughter Amba and disappearing along with his son, Theo.

Thankfully, Leyla Harding manages to track David down to a cottage and begs him to see sense, accusing him of running away from his problems.

But David is past the point of no return as he locks Leyla in the bathroom before she can call the police while back in the village, Priya makes a call to the police… have things gone too far?

Elsewhere in the village, Bernice Blackstock gets to the root of Cathy Hope's bad mood after the teenager misses a mock exam.

Cathy confesses that she’s suffering from heavy periods, so Bernice gets her an appointment with Manpreet, who writes her a prescription for the pill.

However, poor Cathy can’t bring herself to confide in her dad, Bob, about how she's feeling and later he informs her that she can re-sit her mock exam.

Also, Mary Goskirk dips her toe into the dating game but her first attempt isn’t a success and when her second turns out to be a no-show, she’s left despondent.

Elsewhere, Mandy Dingle suggests that Bob and Bernice buy the B&B together. But has she created a monster as the two enthusiastic friends throw themselves into the new project?

Emmerdale continues weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
