Emmerdale star jokes shes GMBs Susanna Reid twin after dressing the same way

Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley said she was left "laughing" when she noticed she dress the exact same way as GMB host Susanna Reid.

The Mandy Dingle actress explained that she has got into work and saw Good Morning Britain playing on the green screen.

Susanna and Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis were hosting the show on Wednesday morning (22 September).

After 11 days of wearing black clothes after the passing of The Queen, Susanna glammed up for the show in a silky electric blue leopard print dress while her brunette locks had been styled into beachy waves.

However it looks like the stylish look isn't completely unique as Lisa took to Instagram with a side-by-side image of Susanna on-screen and a selfie of herself dressed ready for working on the ITV soap.

She posted the side-by-side image to her fees and captioned it: "LAUGHING," she wrote alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.

"Today I came to work @itv @emmerdale noticed on tv…..it seems @susannareid100 has dressed the EXACT same way as Mandy Dingle….I’m wearing the same dress for filming today."

Fans instantly took to the comments section to comment on the matching outfits.

One person said: "Love this Lisa! Couldn't have it any other way."

A second wrote: "Brilliant, both gorgeous."

While a third penned: "@susannareid100 has good taste!!"

A fourth commented: " "You rock it, Lisa."

Viewers were left fuming after Wednesday's episode of Good Morning Britain when Susanne and Martin didn't mention the Phil and Holly "queue jumping" scandal.

The two This Morning hosts were accused of jumping the queue to see The Queen lying in state.

One of the main conversations of the morning was about the cost of living crisis, but fans were left unimpressed over the scheduling.

Many of them felt that Good Morning Britain should have addressed the recent drama surrounding This Morning stars Willoughby and Schofield.

Some fans queued up for 12 hours to see the coffin, Holly and Phil were able to access it “in a professional capacity as part of the world’s media” so they could “report on the event,” as explained in a statement made by ITV.

Fans took to Twitter to express their anger that it hadn't been addressed on Good Morning Britain.

One tweet read: “Another morning where GMB ignore the repugnant behaviour of [their] ITV pals Holly and Phil.”

Another said that Good Morning Britain was “ignoring” the queue jump drama and accused them of “protecting their celebrity friend’s status”.
