Emmerdale’s Jamie set for danger as fans ‘work out’ Kim Tate murder twist

Emmerdale fans have predicted Jamie Tate's (Alexander Lincoln) days in the dales are numbered, ahead of his mum Kim Tate's (Claire King) explosive return later this month.

Originally loved up with Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor Draper), Jamie's status in the village turned when he tried to cover up his involvement in Moira Dingle's ( Natalie J Robb) hit and run, lying about the crime.

Belle exposed him as guilty to the police, only for Jamie's ex-wife Andrea Tate (Anna Nightengale) to help him weasel out of imprisonment, offering an alibi.

Now, Jamie has turned against the Dingles, trying his best to get Belle sent behind bars for his own violent misdeed.

Friday's episode was the police arrive in the sleepy Yorkshire village, bringing Belle in for questioning as her panic took hold.

Watching from home this evening, viewers were convinced someone would take Jamie out – with some choosing Kim Tate as the prime suspect.

One wrote: "Will be very disappointed if Kim doesn't kill Jamie now. She will though. Kim never lets us down."

A second agreed: "I wonder if there's gonna be a whodunit involving Jamie Tate being left for dead hmm."

"I really wish Kim comes back soon and kicks Jamie into touch. It's about time that someone put him in his place. He is acting on impulse of his mother's requests right now. Acting like the big man when really he isn't," added a third.

"Can you really see the powers that be killing off James Tate? Wishful thinking," wrote a fourth.

Kim hasn't been seen in the village for months, but her return is imminent, as she is promised to reappear in Home Farm in nail-biting upcoming scenes.

When Kim sees the rift in place between her son and the Dingle family, whose side will she take?

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with a second helping on Thursdays at 8pm.
