LOVE Island's Maya Jama took a cheeky swipe at her exes as she kicked off the winter series in style.
The 28-year-old stunner – who was highly praised for her first stint as presenter on the ITV2 lovefest – has had her fair share of public heartbreaks after relationships with Stormzy and Ben Simmons.
And she couldn't resist at giving a warning to the islanders after they coupled up for the first islanders after being burned herself.
"Don't forget finding your perfect match is never that simple," she told them. "Trust me, I know."
Fans took this to be a reference to her own splits – and congratulated her on the veiled swipe.
"No maya is dropping little indirects you know," wrote one. "'we don’t take L’s over here' and 'finding the one is never easy, trust me I know'. Ooooh girl, I feel you."
"‘trust me i know’ LMAOOO MAYA GOT STORMZY HUFFING AND PUFFING MAN," said a second.
"‘Trust me I know’ oooo give us the tea Maya baby," said a third.
"Maya throwing shade at Ben Simmons and stormzy??? I LOVE YOUUUU" said a fourth.

The Sun revealed in August 2022 that Maya and NBA basketball player Simmons had called it quits as their conflicting schedules forced them to live on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
It seems that after her most recent break-up, Maya is now focused on helping others find love as presenter on the show, and remaining single.
Speaking to The Times on January 8, Maya said: "I’m really, really single right now.
"Newly single. It’s only been a month.. but it’s nice."
