Love Island fans work out the real reason Tasha broke down in tears after recoupling

Love Island fans have taken to social media to reveal their theories as to why Tasha broke down in tears after Friday night’s dramatic recoupling.

The dancer ended up coupled up with Andrew Le Page again, who she has been in a partnership with since the beginning of the show, despite recently expressing her interests in new bombshell Charlie Radnedge.

Admitting she wanted to"get to know" the newbie, Andrew was left disappointed, but once Charlie had opted for actress Ekin-su instead, the 26 year old chose his long-term partner once again.

However, pals Dami, 26, and Luca, 23, clearly didn't approve of the decision, with the camera clearly showing their disdain, leaving Tasha confronting them later in the show – and ending up in tears.

However, fans seem to think there was an entirely different reason she was crying and took to Twitter to speculate.

“I genuinely think Tasha is crying because Charlie didn’t pick her and now she’s stuck with Andrew,” one viewer wrote.

While another added: “Tasha isn’t crying because the boys were shaking their heads, she’s crying because Charlie didn’t pick her.”

A third agreed: “Tasha wasn’t trying because she was upset, she was definitely crying after the recoupling because Charlie didn’t choose her!”

Fans also called out Dami and Luca for their reaction and accused them of having "double standards."

One angry viewer asked: “Why when jay says to ekin that he would leave with her if she got dumped and then says that he wants to get to know paige(who was there the whole time) the boys back him up but when tasha does it(to a guy that wasn’t there at the time) they are all coming for her??”

Another agreed and wrote: “So it’s okay in the Villa for the men to get to know people but not the women?! Double standards that. None of the guys had an issue with Jay doing it with Paige but nope Tasha is not to get to know anyone.”

A third wrote: "The men on this f**king island have created such a b***hy, toxic, misogynistic environment where the girls can’t even look at another guy without them s**t shaming and bullying her.

"We’ve seen it with Ekin-Su and now we’re seeing it with Tasha."

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
