Love Island’s iconic Movie Night returns tonight as Davide says ‘forget nothing’

The Love Island villa could once again be plunged into chaos as the long-awaited Movie Night returns tonight.

The fan favourite feature, sees the contestants sit down together to watch videos of their partner’s actions away from prying eyes, with the light of their real behaviour in Casa Amor set to be exposed in upcoming scenes.

During their brief time away from each other in the second villa, the couples were tested to the limit as they got to know several other bombshells – some perhaps better than others.

While the return to the main villa saw some couples stay true to their original partners and stave off temptation, others weren’t so lucky, with both Andrew and Tasha and Dami and Indiyah having chosen to recouple with someone else on their return.

Since then, both couples have reunited, but fans at home are convinced that some scenes during their time away may be about to come to light and threaten whatever romantic bliss they've established so far.

In upcoming scenes due to air tonight, Gemma gets a text which reads: “It’s time to get glam and hit the red carpet as you attend Mad Movies the premiere! #SpillThePopcorn #ITV2andChill.”

Dami admits: “Personally, I know I am starring in this movie!”

Ekin-Su says to Davide: “If we pass this we’re fine.”

Davide then muses to the boys: “Forget nothing, at the end someone will pay the bill.”

Fans at home have been eagerly anticipating the return of Movie Night for several weeks now, with explosive scenes and high stakes drama seen in previous years.

In 2021, many viewers will remember that the night caused a huge argument between Faye Winter and Jake Cornish after a clip was shown of Jake actively encouraging the other boys within the villa to stray.

While it’s unknown which clips will play during tonight’s scenes, there are plenty of possibilities for huge fallouts this year too, with Dami and Andrew among some of the Islanders who were spotted getting very cosy with the Casa Amor girls despite being happily coupled up.

Will their relationships survive?

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
