Meghan Markle book slammed by Stacey Solomon in Charlene debate on Loose Women

Stacey Solomon rushed to defend Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Loose Women today.

The panel kicked off the show today by discussing their opinions on the new royal book out on the market, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.

And it was Stacey who was the first in to share her views.

Asked how she feels about the couple after reading the book, Stacey said: "I honestly don't feel any different about them.

"I feel like these kind of books… you either approve of it or you don't. So when somebody says 'they have been speculated to', 'approve all of this and said yes this is what we think'…"

Stacey continued: "To me, I just don't think that's good enough.

"Unless they come out and say 'we absolutely stand by this book. This is word for word how we feel' to me it's just another fantasy novel about the royal family."

She went on: "And I think there's been so many of them written and sometimes I just feel like I would rather not read it and not know.

"I think what they want us to know they will tell us. What they contest is obviously things that they feel are not true.

"So, I don't think there's anything in there that's upset them or has painted them in a light that they don't want.

"But I also don't know if everything in there is straight from the horse's mouth."
