Nadine Coyle leaves Paddy McGuinness speechless as accent makes word sound rude

Nadine Coyle had an awkward start to Saturday night's I Can See Your Voice when her accent caused an innocent word to sound extremely rude.

During this weekend's show, the singing tricksters included Guitar Star, Nailed It and The Body, among others.

And it was Guitar Star who had Nadine, 35, talking, as the Girls Aloud songstress said: "He had a crooner's wink going on, didn't he?"

However due to her thick Irish accent, her comment sounded rather rude and host Paddy McGuinness quickly stopped her.

"Excuse me?" he said, as panelist Jimmy Carr quipped: "I don't think you can say that."

Amanda Holden and Alison Hammond were in stitches, as a confused Nadine went on: "He winked like a crooner… a crooner's wink."

Paddy told her: "This is a family show, what did you say?"

Soon it was clear what Nadine was saying, and Jimmy laughed: "That's fine Paddy, but for a second there…"
