New series of The Apprentice will see major change to BBC show | The Sun

LORD SUGAR will have an extra two business wannabes to rant at next year with the return of The Apprentice.

The number of candidates on the BBC1 show has been bumped up to 18 for the next instalment of the award-winning show, which kicks off with a trip to Antigua.

The former Spurs chairman will be joined by trusted lieutenants Karren Brady And Tim Campbell, plus viewers’ favourite Claude Littner, who’s returning for two episodes.

A show insider said: “Bosses feel The Apprentice will be bigger than ever this year and believe viewers are in for a treat.

"There are so many exciting challenges planned that it made sense to increase the numbers.”

The opening episode will see the 18 candidates head to the Caribbean to create and sell excursions to tourists.

When they return to the UK, they will face challenges involving creating their own cartoon and selling street food as well as immersive events and even the world of male grooming.
