Married at First Sight Australia: Matthew prepares for wedding
Ning and Mark became the sixth couple to tie the knot on the Australian version of Married At First Sight. The unique reality series follows singletons who have been paired up by a panel of experts to see if love at first sight is real. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about where Ning and Mark are now.
Are Ning and Mark still together?
Ning Surasiang, 32, was paired with Mark Scrivens who was 10 years her elder.
Ning was a hairdresser from Townsville in Queensland, whereas Mark, 42, was ex-army personnel from Melbourne.
The panel of relationship experts had a difficult time trying to find someone for single mum Ning, who admitted she had trust issues.
They believed they had found the perfect match for her in fitness coach Mark, who had finally settled down following his career in the army.
Both Ning and Mark had to “marry” during a commitment ceremony, before ever having had the chance to meet.

They spent their honeymoon in Bangkok, but sadly it was not meant to be and they decided to end their relationship before the end of the experiment.
They remain separated to this day, and things did not end well for the couple when it came to saying their final vows.
Ning decided she wanted to stay with Mark, but unfortunately, he did not have the same feelings for her.
He said he had come on the show to find love but had not managed to find it with her and he was not in the relationship enough for it to continue any longer.
Ning did not take the news well, and she discarded her vows before leaving in tears.
Both Mark and Ning are on Instagram and thankfully they have both gone on to find love elsewhere.
Ning started dating her current boyfriend Kane Micallef in August 2020 and she is also a mother-of-three.
In her Instagram bio she named her children – Kia, Kobi and Kai.
She loves spending time cooking and will often share videos of herself making delicious recipes.
Ning also has a dab hand at fishing, and she has shared plenty of photos by the water.

Back in April 2019, she shared a photo of herself with Mark from the series, saying: “I’m in beard heaven… I thought it would be weird how we left off, but it’s like nothing has happened. Let’s not get weird! Just own it! #beardlover #MAFS.”
She also shared a photo of the pair hugging on their wedding day, saying: “In the arms of the beholder, you make me feel safe in my own skin and safe with you. You make me feel it’s ok to not be okay #hugs #MissUs #MAFS.”
Sadly things did not work out for the couple, but Mark has since found love with girlfriend Bianca Chatfield, whom he has been dating for more than a year.
He has since become the owner of the Freelancer Cafe in St Kilda, and he has been picked up by a modelling agency.
He is a huge fan of travel and has posted plenty of photos of himself with his girlfriend in some stunning locations.
He shared a photo of himself from the series, saying: “‘There’s no way he’s 41, he looks 70’…Hard to believe it’s been 12 months since this photo was doing the rounds in the adverts for the upcoming season and with it came some pretty funny comments.
“Anyway, all the best to this year’s crew, like most people I’ll be telling everyone I won’t be watching but secretly keeping one eye on it..#notseventy.”
There is evidence to suggest the pair may have reconciled after the series, as Mark shared a photo of himself with Ning, saying: “And that’s a wrap… Unbelievable experience and am happy I got to share it with you… Thanks for the memories, you are a cool chick who is a good kind of koo koo bananas and I’m a better person from our time together. #MAFS”
