Love Island power couple Olivia Bowen and husband Alex are one of the biggest success stories of the ITV2 reality show.
And now Olivia, 26, has revealed they’re ready for a brand new, exciting chapter, and plan to start a family next year.
Speaking on ITV2’s spin off show, Love Island: What Happened Next, which airs over the next three nights, Olivia says: “I think now we want to start a family.”
“I think next year we want to start a family, actually. I’m not even on the pill anymore.”
28 year old Alex can then be seen smiling as he jokes with his wife in front of the cameras:“That’s it now…exclusive!”
Speaking about how they came to the decision Olivia, who fell head over heels for Alex on the show in 2016, before marrying him two years later, said they were always hoping to expand their brood.
The couple are already proud owners of dogs Reggie and Winnie and say they want to add to their fur babies.
Olivia explains: “We got Reggie first, then we got Winnie and now I want another dog. It’s been two years between every dog.”
Olivia’s mum has also had a say in matters, encouraging her daughter to start thinking about falling pregnant.
She continued: “I spoke to my mum a few days ago and she was like, ‘Liv, do not get another dog – just have a baby. Just have a kid!”
