Mother of nine, Amanda Owen and husband Clive invited Channel 5 viewers to explore their family’s rural lifestyle on Ravenseat Farm. Our Yorkshire Farm aired every Tuesday evening and followed the Shepherdess as she ran her 2,000-acre rural estate. Fans were devastated after the series came to an emotional end last week, meaning the show’s usual 9pm slot will now air The Great Escape.
While Channel 5 is yet to announce if there will be the sixth series, supporters of the programme took to Twitter to express their sadness.
Yearning for more Amanda Owen content, @nickyJ1a wrote: “I love this show/family. I hope there’s more to come (please!).”
@EvelynM92001909 also tweeted: “Loved the series, hope we get more.”
Several viewers were stumped as they didn’t know the Yorkshire Dales farm series had come to an end.
@richdeightondj asked: “Has this series finished altogether, or is it coming back?”
Another viewer expressed their desire to see Amanda, Clive and their family back on screens soon.
@hannahj19436579 said: “The finale episode of #OurYorkshireFarm was so good. Wonderful family, really hope there will be another series in the new year.”
Our Yorkshire Farm made its debut on Channel 5 in 2018 and continued to grow in popularity with fans tuning weekly to follow the trials and tribulations of the Owen family.
The last episode saw a COVID-19 outbreak hit the farm leaving Clive and Amanda to keep the farm going.
Son Ruben was forced to isolate on his own while his siblings and parents kept Ravenseat in action.
And while fans were emotional no new episode will air on Tuesday, many saw last week’s finale as a fitting end.

@sewingyorkie wrote: “Really going to miss the Owen family on a Tuesday night.”
While there’s no official word on future instalments, Amanda Owen fans could be in luck as it was reported earlier this year that Channel 5 had signed a two-year deal which should equate to 20 episodes for viewers to look forward to.
Amanda has not responded when there will be another series just yet.
Fans of the show also have the opportunity to view the land, as the couple opened their farm for visitors in spring 2020.
It’s located at the halfway point of the 182-mile Coast-to-Coast walk in North Yorkshire and sells delicious cream teas and high-quality farm produce over spring and summertime.
Our Yorkshire Farm is available to stream on My5 now.
