Holly and Phil open This Morning on Monday
Kicking off the episode with a medley of Disney songs from the composer Alan Menken, Phillip and Holly seemed in good spirits despite recent claims of a feud.
Highlighting how well he knows his co-star and friend, Phillip addressed Holly as he told her the music segment was “right up your street”.
Agreeing, Holly continued to tell viewers what else would be happening throughout the show as the pair seemed all smiles.
However, many viewers watching quickly noticed the body language of the two stars as eagle-eyed fans spotted some tension between them despite their cheery personas.
Speculation of a feud comes after Phillip recently issued a statement where he confessed things hadn’t been easy between them for the past few weeks.
Although as ITV and Holly were unaware that Phil was going to speak out over their relationship, it looks as though his actions could have dire consequences.
A source told The Mirror: “He has turned what was a manageable situation into a feeding frenzy.
“If viewers now no longer believe in the pair, and make their views clear next week, make no mistake, ITV will act.
“Phil’s position is looking increasingly precarious. Monday is very much D-day, but the same could apply to any day next week. No one is bigger than the brand.”

Speculation of the fall-out was escalated after fans noticed that Holly had wiped a tribute to Phillip on her social media over the weekend.
In her Twitter bio, it had previously said: “I was introduced to this by a Twitter legend,’ before tagging her co-presenter Phillip.
Although it’s not yet known when her bio was changed, it now reads: “Broadcaster, Founder of Wyldemoon, Brand Ambassador for Marks & Spencer and Garnier, Author of ‘Reflections’.”
Touching on the rumoured rift during Monday’s instalment, many viewers realised they seemed less relaxed around one another than they usually are.
