REAL Housewives of New Jersey start Teresa Giudice reportedly owes more money to the taxman, a report claims.
According to RadarOnline.com, Teresa has been hit with a new bill having already owed more than $73,000.
The news comes as Teresa, 47, is currently footing the bill for 47-year-old husband Joe's deportation appeal.
The latest report claims that court papers from Morris County Court in New Jersey show the couple were hit with a Notice of Federal Tax Lien on October 9, 2019, for $13,070.56 for the tax period ending on December 31, 2018.
This comes after Radar previously reported that Teresa and Joe were hit with a State Tax Lien for $73,273 on August 30, 2017.
According to Investopedia, "the federal or state government can place a tax lien on a property if the owner is in arrears on income taxes. Local governments may place a lien on a property for nonpayment of property or local income taxes."
Both liens have not yet been released, according the report.
In December 2015, Teresa was release from prison having served 11 months for tax fraud.
Joe, meanwhile, served 41 months before being released in March 2019.
He is currently in Italy amid a deportation appeal that would allow him to return the U.S.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Teresa’s father, Giacinto Gorga, said his son-in-law "gotta blame himself" for not becoming a U.S. citizen.
Giacinto said in the show: "Six times I told him, ‘Go make a citizen.’ ‘Yeah yeah, I’ll go’ — he never did.”
“He gotta blame himself."
