Sam left to die after Sharon has him kidnapped in Corrie?

Coronation Street’s Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) has been left in deadly danger, after Sharon Bentley (Tracie Bennett) orchestrated his kidnap tonight (May 21).

The little lad proved to be Sharon’s last hope at luring Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) back to the cobbles.

With Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) piling on the pressure, Sharon reluctantly set in motion a plan that would see him kidnapped.

Using a top-of-the-range telescope, she had one of Harvey’s thugs lure the 10year-old into the back of a van.

When Sam was inside, the thug locked the doors – ensuring that the young boy couldn’t get out.

Natasha (Rachel Leskovac), meanwhile, was concerned when Sam did not return home from school, and the more hours that passed, the more worried she became.

Sam begged the driver to open the door and let him out, but it soon became apparent that he wasn’t going anywhere, after the heavy parked the vehicle in a remote location, and left it there overnight.

‘Hello!,’ Sam screamed. ‘Mr Driver. I’m locked in.

‘My name’s Sam. And I’m only 10!’

‘Let me out!’ he yelled at the top go his lungs.

It was, however, no use. Sam was trapped. The question is: will he be rescued before it’s too late?

Coronation Street continues Monday May 24 at 7:30pm on ITV.
