STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers all spotted the same thing about Tess Daly's launch show outfit.

The blonde presenter, 53, stepped out on the stage to meet co-host Claudia Winkleman wearing one of her trademark off the shoulder numbers, but fans all felt it looked a little unusual.

In fact, many viewers of the BBC hit felt she looked she was wearing a top made from a typical material found it kitchen cupboards across the country.

"What in the tinfoil is Tess wearing?" one asked on twitter.

Another chipped in: "Hands up who dressed Tess in bacofoil?"

"Tess's top is giving bust of queen Victoria," a third added.

"ITS TESS DALY SEASON, REJOICE!" celebrated another.

Tess's husband Vernon Kay recently told The Sun that his wife hopes to host the show as long as the late Strictly legend Bruce Forsyth who hosted the show with her until he was 86.

Asked if Tess, 53, will stick around as long as Bruce, he laughs: “Yes I think so,” before praising her partnership with Claudia who took over when the veteran TV host left in 2014.

Vernon, 48, adds: “Strictly was probably one of the first shows to embrace two women as the main anchors of a huge Saturday night entertainment show.

“We’ve seen Ant and Dec for decades double-heading a show and I don’t think two women had done that before on such a large scale."
