Amy Schumer has admitted she feels "very connected" to Love Island star Maura Higgins.
The American actress and comedian is a self-confessed enthusiast of the ITV2 dating show.
The 38-year-old has thrown her support behind Maura, who has quickly become one of the most talked about Islanders in the villa.
Amy, who starred in Trainwreck and I Feel Pretty, pays tribute to Maura in a specially recorded video message.
The Hollywood A-lister claims the Irish grid girl is her "homie" during a special shout out.
She says: “I’m loving this season of Love Island. I want to give a shout out to Maura. She’s just like my homie, I feel very connected to her.”
Amy's full message will be broadcast on this Sunday night's Aftersun at 10pm on ITV2.
This comes after Girls creator Lena Dunham confessed she was "obsessed" with Love Island while living in the UK this summer.

The actress told her American followers to watch the US version of the show when it arrives in July.
She tweeted: “USA, #LoveIsland is coming your way July 9th. Like the most of the UK, I am obsessed with the show…. Just saying…”
Lena also admitted she was a member of 'Team Maura' after watching her clash with Tom Walker.
She said: “For you folks in the UK who are binging on @LoveIsland like me, like Maura, I want a partner who can match me, not a coward who thinks I’m OTT, cringey and an attention seeker! Team Maura!”
